My son loves snakes. I'm not a fan, just I tin can live with it. He doesn't own any snakes, but whenever we're in the lawn he always searches around until he finds garden snakes.
Luckily we live in an area where there are no poisonous snakes to be plant, just withal, I'g non a huge fan of his obsession.
Every time he finds a snake skin or a skeleton from a snake that has died he gets super excited and comes and shows me. And even though my skin crawls and I bite the inside of my cheek to keep from screaming, I sit there and listen to him excitedly telling me every single fact he knows about snakes. I say all this to say I feel for the parents in this video.
I can deal with snakes – outside snakes – merely if my son was obsessed with cockroaches the way nine-yr-old Shelby Counterman is, I'm afraid I'd accept to put my human foot downwards. Accept a look!
Kudos to Shelby's parents for bucking up and accepting her creepy obsession. You're fashion stronger stock than me.
